Sculpture Introduction:
This stainless steel sculpture is custom designed according to Robert Indiana Love, changing some design details and adding the elements required by the client. Therefore, although this “LOVE” sculpture is inspired by the original version of Robert Indiana, it also has its own characteristics, showing a style that is unique to the client’s needs.
Our client needed a unique sculpture for their football field and approached us to chat about their ideas. Our designers design the colors that our customers want according to the needs of our customers, and add football elements into them. The name of the location is then printed on the bottom of our sculpture and on the football based on our client’s location. Source of the Sculpture:
Love is a pop art logo made by American artist Robert Indiana. The logo uses the Didone font to write the English “LOVE”, where the “O” is slanted and the “V” is in line. The original design used red letters and a green and blue background. The design was originally used as a Christmas card for the Museum of Modern Art in 1965. The design quickly became popular and was featured on U.S. postage stamps. In 1970, the Indianapolis Museum of Art exhibited the first sculpture of this shape. There are now sculptures of the same appearance all over the world. Robert Indiana created 50 versions of the iconic LOVE sculpture, some featuring different words or letters in different languages, but in the same style. They have been exhibited all over the world.
