Standing approximately 5 meters (16.4 feet) tall, this giant pumpkin sculpture transforms the familiar shape of a pumpkin into an expressive piece of large-scale public art. Its abstract form features sweeping curved sections and an open center, creating the impression of a pumpkin caught in motion—as if it were dancing.
This large pumpkin sculpture is designed to interact with its surroundings. The large opening allows visitors to see through and walk beneath the sculpture, giving the artwork a stronger sense of space and interaction. Its distinctive silhouette also makes it suitable as a visual landmark in parks, plazas and other public spaces.
Designed for Public Spaces:
At approximately 5 meters high, this giant pumpkin sculpture is designed for locations where a strong visual presence is required.
It is particularly suitable for:
- Public parks
- Urban plazas
- Cultural districts
- Commercial and shopping areas
- Hotel and resort landscapes
- Outdoor art installations
- City landmark projects
- Contemporary public art spaces
Its large scale allows the sculpture to remain visually prominent from a distance, while the walk-through design creates a more engaging experience for people approaching it.
For projects that require a different height, footprint, or overall composition, the design can also be adapted to the characteristics of the installation site.
Complex Fabrication Behind the Abstract Form
Creating a 5-meter abstract sculpture requires precise control over both the artistic form and the physical structure.
At YouFine, the curved stainless steel sections are individually shaped and adjusted according to the approved design. The curvature, proportions and connections between different sections are carefully controlled so that the finished sculpture maintains the intended sense of movement.
The fabrication process involves stainless steel forming, cutting, welding, grinding, and surface finishing. For a sculpture with large open sections and multiple curved components, accurate welding and structural connections are particularly important. Every component needs to fit the overall composition while providing the strength required for transportation and installation.
Our craftsmen also pay close attention to the transitions between different sections. This helps preserve the smooth, flowing appearance of the original design instead of allowing the fabrication joints to dominate the artwork.
YouFine Experience with Large Public Sculptures:
Large stainless steel sculptures require more than skilled fabrication. They involve coordination between design interpretation, structural construction, quality control, assembly, packaging, and transportation. YouFine has practical experience producing stainless steel sculptures at this scale.
In early 2026, our team completed a custom public park project in Russia consisting of 11 stainless steel sculptures. More than five sculptures were over 4 meters high, with some designs reaching approximately 6 meters. Each sculpture went through production quality control, and we carried out pre-shipment assembly checks to verify the structure, proportions, and details before packing. The completed sculptures have now been installed.
We have also completed a 7.5-meter stainless steel Cascade of Spheres sculpture project for Abu Dhabi, giving our team additional experience with the fabrication, assembly, and logistics involved in large-scale stainless steel public art.
Looking for Public Art Installation for Your Space?
The 5-meter design shown here is one example of what can be produced for a large-scale public art project. The overall height, width, proportions, and curved elements can be adjusted according to the requirements of the site.
If you are planning a large outdoor art installation, park sculpture, plaza landmark, or custom public art project, share your preferred size, design concept, or reference image with the YouFine team. We can help develop the sculpture from the initial concept through fabrication and delivery. You can also provide our team with architectural drawings, sketches, 3D models, or reference images, and we can work with you to develop a suitable custom sculpture.
