Bronze horse sculpture, the casting methods commonly used in sculpture art casting are “lost wax method” and “sand casting”.
For bronze horse sculptures, the “lost wax method” is a method of ancient metal casting. The tire is made of a tire mold, and the molding material is externally applied to form an integral mold. Heating is carried out by waxing to form a cavity casting mold, pouring into a liquid metal, and cooling to obtain a shaped casting. This method belongs to the category of “injection casting” and is generally used to cast copper sculptures with very fine shapes and very complicated shapes.
In the process of making bronze horse sculptures, “sand casting” is a casting method for producing castings in a sand mold. Because the molding materials used in sand casting are cheap and easy to obtain, the molds are easy to manufacture, and can be adapted to single-piece production, batch production and mass production of castings. For a long time, it has been the basic process in casting production. Generally used for large castings, the fineness is relatively low. Cast copper sculptures are now generally completed in two ways.
