This bronze 18-foot statue of Achilles was the Greek hero of the Trojan War. This is in memory of soldier and statesman, Arthur Wellesley, 1st Duke of Wellington. And, the bronze sculpture was installed by order of King George III and unveiled on 18 June 1822.
