Ball Fountain Detail:
A rotating ball fountain is a deceptively straightforward design. Much of the basic water fountain rules apply, except that in this case, you are setting up the flow of water to support a spinning marble ball. This will require a more powerful pump than a standard tabletop fountain. With these variations in mind, assembling a rolling ball fountain is fairly straightforward.
What are Floating Granite Fountains?
These custom-designed interactive sculptural water features are carefully crafted perfectly balanced objects. First, they are set in sockets carved according to the object’s precise curvature. They float and spin on a thin layer of water. They usually weigh several tons.
Also, their high quality creates an exquisite water fountain landscape. Of course, when this water ball is placed in the park, it would attract people and stimulate their curiosity. There is no doubt that these highly polished mirror balls are beautiful.
How do Ball Fountains Work?
Water pumped from beneath the socket lubricates the sphere sculpture, forcing it to turn gently. So started, the water ball continues to spin until the water supply is cut off. The angle and degree of grinding and polishing of sculptures are very strict because we must ensure that the measurement is accurate.
Undoubtedly, errors must be absent. And, only a skilled old artist could polish the smoothest surface. Furthermore, the base and sphere are machined simultaneously to ensure that there are only slight differences between the profiles of the two surfaces. Ultimately, a floating fountain must be perfectly balanced to rotate properly.
Place the water pump at the bottom of the bowl and attach the plastic tubing to the pump outlet. Test the water flow of the pump by filling the bowl with water and plugging the electrical cord of the pump into an outlet. Set the water flow control to high to create the rolling ball fountain effect. Verify that the pump is set to high and in good working order.
The rotating ball fountain is the most popular in our factory. Feed the plastic tubing from the pump outlet through the drilled hole in the rock base. Cut the plastic tubing so that it is flush with the top of the rock base and is not visible from the exterior.
